The machine configuration is :
AMD - Athelon 64 with asus m2n mx se motherboard. When I install a 32 bit OS I have no issues in installing the lan card. However the Machine becomes unstable, where as when I install windows XP- 64 bit the machine remains stable but it doesn't recognizes external Lan Cards.Currently the OS is windows XP- 64 bit and I am not able to configure my Intex Lan card on it. |

What's the model of the Intex Lan card?
When you say that the system doesn't recognize the Intex card, is it showing up in Device Manager on XP-64? |
