Hi,
It's been 2 months since my last build, and I think it's about time I upgraded to a new one . Joking, I'm selling my latest to a family member for a slight loss and building myself a new one as I was a bit disappointed with the 8600GT's.My budget is around £600, and here is what I have so far: Intel Q6600 - £156 XFX nForce 780i 3-way SLi Motherboard - £168 OCZ PC2-6400 Platinum 4gb Dual Channel - £57 Leadtek PX8800GT 256mb VGA - £135 OCZ 600W StealthXStream PSU - £55 Zalman CPU Cooler - £23 Asus Cheapo Case - £18 Total: £612. I think I'll run XP 32bit until I can afford a 64bit OS. Any thoughts? |

Go for the 512mb 8800GT and not the 256mb version, not much of a huge difference between the 8600Gt and 8800Gt 256mb version.
and why don't you choose a nice case? oh and btw that psu you chose is really good
