Angry New member with a problem.

Hi,
I have just joined the forum today, made my first post and got the following message, when I clicked the suggested link it took me back to the main forums page.

Sorry. The administrator has banned your IP address. To contact the administrator click here

I have never been banned from anywhere quite so quickly, perhaps a Mod can help.

Best regards, Rick T

My Computer

Hi Rick,

Welcome to HWF. In regards to your issue, it looks like you're coming from an AOL proxy IP. This means you are sharing the same address as many, many people (maybe hundreds of thousands). Likely somebody else using the same proxy was banned in the past, and that's causing trouble for you now. I'm surprised you haven't had similar trouble on many other sites before. Is there another Internet connection you can make use of?

Best regards,
-AT

Thanks AT, didn't get the message on the second post, so all seems to be fine. Rick T
