I'm building a new rig and I've never been very good at finding compatible parts, so I've been asking around for help and I've put together all the parts I need. The only thing I need is a Intel Motherboard that will support all the pieces I've put together and I don't have the confidence to pick one myself, if any of you would help find me one on Newegg it would be much appreciated.
These are my current pieces Case 110$ Newegg.com - Antec Nine Hundred Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case - Computer Cases ------------- Processor 330$ Newegg.com - Intel Core 2 Quad Q9450 Yorkfield 2.66GHz 12MB L2 Cache LGA 775 95W Quad-Core Processor - Processors - Desktops ------------- Hard Drive 90$ Newegg.com - Western Digital Caviar SE16 WD6400AAKS 640GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive - Internal Hard Drives ------------- RAM 105$ http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231166 ------------- Monitor 180$ Newegg.com - Acer AL1916WAbd Black 19" 5ms Widescreen LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 700:1 - LCD Monitors ------------- Optical Drive DVD-ROM Reader 20$ Newegg.com - ASUS Black 16X DVD-ROM 48X CD-ROM SATA DVD-ROM Drive Model DVD-E616A3T OEM - CD / DVD Drives Burner 24$ Newegg.com - LITE-ON Black 20X DVD+R 8X DVD+RW 8X DVD+R DL 20X DVD-R 6X DVD-RW 12X DVD-RAM 16X DVD-ROM 48X CD-R 32X CD-RW 48X CD-ROM 2MB Cache IDE 20X DVD±R DVD Burner - CD / DVD Burners ------------- Power Supply 65$ Newegg.com - Rosewill RP600V2-S-SL 600W SLI Ready-ATX12V V2.01 Power Supply 115/230 V CSA,UL,TUV,FCC - Power Supplies ------------- Video Card 285$ http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814121258 And this is the motherboard that I was looking at but I'm not sure it'll support all the functions on my other hardware. the q9450 is a wast, grab a q6600, if you are overclocking also it will be easier to overclock then the q9450 as it has low fsb holes and a low multiplyer. Grab a 550vx for the psu...that mobo is fine, but im not sure how well it will overclock, if u are overclocking then pick up a asus p5k.

i can't see any major problems, but, i've only had a quick look
what i did notice is: you have selected 1 SATA DVD-ROM & 1 IDE DVD+/-RW drives, why? you may as well get 2 IDE drives, because an optical drive is slower than both IDE & SATA aswell i noticed the PSU only has dual rails, although, the PSU output appear fine if they are to be believed. personally i have a single core intel @3Ghz power very easily by an Antec TP II Trio 550W
