New soundcard made problems. P5E Motherboard

Hello, i have no clue whatsoever how to fix this issue so i figured i'd turn to some online help. I will try to explain the situvation.

I have just bought almost an entire new computer and my father installed all the peices. When we had installed every driver etc etc, any sound i played on the computer, either through headphones or speakers, had a buzzing, crackling sound with it. When i turned of the animations on windows media player the sound stopped only on songs i played through there. I could watch a movie there al though.
So any songs played of the computer is fine, but when it comes to sounds like logging on msn, listening to other people talking on ventrilo etc. will produce that buzzing sound. Secondly, when i try to play anything steamed from internet ( Youtube for instance,) no sound is played in speakers, but in the headset they are.
I just double checked the plugs with the speaker system etc and everything is in order. I run a 5.1 speaker system if that helps.

As i said, i installed every driver, looked for new ones. and the Supreme FX audio card doesn't have a driver as far as i can find.
