Default New Work Rig

Hey guys, im building a new box for school use (although its gonna be way more powerful). Here is what we're looking at:

CPU : Q6600 Core 2 Quad 2.4GHz
Mobo : eVGA nForce 780i
RAM : Corsair Dominator 4GB(2GBx2) 1066mhz DDR2 Dual Channel
Case : Black XION Solaris XON-406 Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
PSU : Dynapower 600W ATX12V V2.2 Computer Power Supply
Video : 2 x eVGA GeForce 8500GT 1GB DDR2 PCI-E Video Card SLI'd
HDDs : 2 x 250GB Hitachi

I pretty much set on this configuration so only some major incompatibility will change my mind (so do point on out if you see it ), put id love your comments!!!

Thanks,

drop the 8500gt's, they suck, just because the 8500gt's are in the 8 series, does not mean they are good, a 7600gt is better performing then they are. If u are overclocking grab a p5k, or p5q pro mobo, a single 8800gt as it will kick the 8500gt's asses out of the water...a 450vx psu, and 4gb g.skill 800mhz kit, or oczreapers, or crucial tracers. If your overclocking you will also need better then stock cooling, i'll wait to recomend u something until u respond

Hey thanks for the suggestions. I'm using the 2 8500's in SLI because I got them at a great price, and I'm not overly concerned about graphics performance, I'm mostly programming. I'm not going to overclock anything as of now, but if the time comes I'll make any upgrades to do so then (I have a smaller budget for this build). But will the RAM I have now work for this setup? I mean it is 4 GB at 1066 mhz...

Thanks!!
