Thanks for checkin out my thread. Here's the deal- I have a build in mind and I would really appreciate to hear from those that have traveled this path before me. So I will show you what i got and hopefully noone will laugh...i mean...youll comment accordingly. Thanks folks! PEACE.

Anyways this is what i think:

About those ThermalTake Smart Blue fans, just want to tell you that they are very loud especially if you put them on full speed they are around 47db (and you will have 4 of them

) but i guess lower speeds will be reasonable just not a lot of air flow

Logitech MX5000: Very good choice

Masscool 8WA741: never used this before but looked at specs on new egg and they are very good

8GB OCZ: again wise choice, the more the better

Now looking at this Mobo and CPU bundle is good but if you can find another bundle with a Q6600 instead then that would be better choice and save you some money. The Q6600 is very good at OC especially the 95watt edition. As for the EVGA mobo that's a very good choice brilliant mobo

Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit: Personally i would go for vista home premium 64 bit and save my self some money there isn't much difference between the two.

Hard Drive: Don't get the hard drive that you chose i recommend you get this: Newegg.com - Open Box: Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 ST3750330AS 750GB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive this has 32mb cache, a wiser choice

GPU: Why not go for a 9800GTX instead?????

Case: forget the Cooler Master Stacker 830 you should get the new Newegg.com - COOLER MASTER cosmos S RC-1100-KKN1-GP Black Aluminum ATX Full Tower Computer Case - Computer Cases

The individual component weights came FREE compliments of Tiger Directs itemized shopping cart! :^) Seemed such a waste to erase this most valuable information from my cutNpaste.

Looks like I got 4 noisy fans coming- I suppose I can send em back when they arrive- I read they were quiet- so that bytes!

Motherboard /processor combo- My thought was to try out this whole SLI algorithm concept. I do huge graphic files and run them through a wide format canon IPF8100. .....But my gaming will be more fun now too! lol

The 9800 GPU doesnt rate as well as the 88's. (from what Ive read). But I almost did initially. I think i will have enough power in the 3 bridged units to appease me for a couple years. I hope.

One thin I was considering was all liquid cooling- but didnt have enough knowledge on the logistics of making it work with my choices. So i may upgrade that direction later.- Know what brand or components I should use?

That is true but they are only quite if you put them on low setting but i assume there won't be much airflow. When they arrive i guess you start to test em out and see, give me some feedback on how loud they are to you.

Fair enough, it is a good combo but just thought you can save your self some money by getting a Q6600.

What the reviews are saying that it's not a huge leap from a 8800GTX to a 9800GTX so therefore for people who got a 8800GTX it's not worth upgrading but for those who don't then obviously it's a good idea, because the 9800GTX has better overclocking potential.

If you are worried about connecting tubes and pumps then why not get a pre-built system. as for brands go i recommend these: Alphacool, Swiftech and thermochill.

Depends on what resolutions/antialiasing he uses because apparently the more memory on the 88 actually help them out at higher resolutions or antialiasing.

OK but tbh I'm a bit skeptical about that.

The reviews that i have read so far say that the 9800GTX is very good at overclocking going past any 8800:

I found some nice quiet case fans by Nexus- their 120mm orange quiet case fan claims to spin 500 at 22.8db and will spin up 1000 rpm m,oving 36.87 cfm.

and they weigh just 3.4 oz each lol

I will check my local sources to see if I can get em- otherwise I gotta wait another week on UPS.

BTW my case arrived yesterday- wadda friggin beheamoth. I can stuff another 7 drives in this thing and them climb in there to work on em and then take a rest in the breakroom thats off the 2 car garage in the rear 1/4 or take the elevator to it's skylight lounge that seats 150.... you get the pic.
