Default No Audio Device!

Hello, recently my computer has been formatted and windows reinstalled. After that everything is working properly except that no audio device is detected on my computer ( according to Control Panel Sounds And Audio Devices ). Since I have only a basic understanding of how works I am here asking for help.
and by the way how do you know what soundcard does your computer have.

I appreciate your help alot mgamaced.
After the error appeared during the update, i went back to hp support and downloaded the original audio drivers, and then update it and now it is working properly.
