Default No Screen on Boot-Up

Hi,

I'm not on my computer right now because I can't even use it and I was wondering if anyone knows what the cause of this problem is... I restarted my PC and the computer boots up and everything but nothing shows up on my monitor and the monitor light beside the power button keeps flashing like it's not plugged in but all the cables / cords are plugged in correctly... does anyone seem to know why this is happening? Like I can't even see anything at all so my computer is unusable. Please help...

Thanks

Shut the system off, then take out and reseat the video card. If that doesn't work, try a different video card...PCI or AGP doesn't really matter, just something you know works.

I tried what you said and I didn't seem to work, I also took out the BIOS battery and put it back in [read on forums it sometimes works] but that didn't work either so now I'm still confused.

Here is some information re: system beeps - they may help you diagnose the problem.

Pirated Den: What do system beeps Mean?

It does rather sound like a video card problem.
