Default Number of Posts view

Is it possible to have users defined number of posts view in all the thread like we have in Active Members area.
Just set the counter and get the number of posts/replies. It will remove the hassle of going through all the pages.

My Computer

go to User CP -> Edit Options,

you should see the option there but it does now allow the user to input a number rather select from the default settings.
