    Default Nvidia G80

i guess it makes sense, even though the article is a little old, its the most relevant one i could find. So it turns out these cards should be coming out sometimes soon, i guess thats logical along with Vista's release.

What do you mean by that? Do you mean it must be like what a GeForce 4 TI was a while back? That statement makes no sense as your card is far superior for a GeForce 4 TI.

I've heard we may see it in November. I saw some pics on the front page of [H]ard|OCP a few days ago, and the G80 card had 2 PCIe 6-pin connectors on it.

holy friggen crap, thats a lot of power, seriously thats just dumb. I can't believe those two cards, they are seriously crazy. It kinda seems like thier almost going backwards, yeah increasing perfomrance imensly but at the cost of of, zero efficiency.

What he's saying is when the G80 and R600 cards are released his X800XTPE will feel like how we view a GeForce 4 Ti today againt current cards. The best cards now make the GeForce 4 Ti look like dated crap, the G80 will make his XT (his opinion) look like dated crap. He's exagerating naturally but I know what he's getting at.
And not to accuse anyone of being wrong but I'm pretty sure the R600 isn't coming out until the new year or so, I think there have been setbacks in taping out and all.
