Arrow OpenSUSE Ripe for the Picking

In case you missed the news, the 100% open-source OpenSUSE has been released to the public. Like many other distros, the only real difference between the 100% free version of their OS and the retail boxed 'Professional' version is the inclusion of proprietary binaries such as Java, Flash, Adobe Acrobat Reader, etc. If you need help adding these 3rd part apps & tools to your installation of OpenSUSE, refer to Jem Matzan's excellent acrticle, 'Hacking OpenSUSE'. He explains in plain English how to easily configure additional software mirrors to get the most out of your system.

All the best,
-AT

My Computer

Just installed this distro on my new "demolition" system and it's actually very nice out of the... uhh.. disc. No really though, nice installer and pretty nice default look.
