PCI Simple Communications Controller

Help i have recently had to reinstall everything on my pc. The only thing I can't restore is the PCI Simple Communications Controller. My laptop is made by Patriot and I'm currently using Windows XP.

Have tried finding the software to download it on various sites however haven't been able to find it successfully.

Does anyone know where i can get a free download for this software?

What is it showing in Device Manager?

Sounds like an old analogue modem or ethernet/wifi card that doesnt have the correct drivers installed, go to the manufacturers website and look for support/drivers relative to your model number, 9/10 times this will fix your problem.
