Default The penguin cometh - well.... nearly

I get this newsletter weekly and I had to 'double take'.....

Surely it should say, "Works better with Ubuntu".
Or at least "Works better than with the suff on the right..."

Never the less, a step in the right direction....

But at least it's Linux! Although I must agree I've not managed to get Ubuntu working on a PC yet (the latest version), even though Mandriva has worked on all 3!

My Computer

Right, I need to explain....
I have not got anything for (or against) Ubuntu apart from the branch it sits on (Debian) which so far I found to be most enjoyable and easy to use.

I do not like using Gnome although I can see the charm it might have over users who are baffled or otherwise disturbed by too much choice or functionality tweaking....

But, this was the first time I saw an advertisement which made the connection between hardware and a possible OS other than Windows.
This, I thought was uber refreshing. Then again this is Novatech we are talking about....

So I was refering to the fact that it was a linux distro recomended to be used with this "low end" laptop. Not so much the distro itself....
