Default Plesk and Windows Server 2003

I setup the new Plesk, and it is asking to pick from a list of four FTP programs. I use filezilla, but it wasn't in the list. So I installed Serv-u, since that was in the list, and it says Serv-u isn't installed, and won't let me continue. The service is started and the FTP server is online. Not sure what is hanging this up.

My Computer

Which FTP server is online?

Sounds like Plesk is asking you wish server you have installed, rather than install it for you?

Right, the newest version of Serv-U is installed, with the newest version of Plesk. I'm not sure why it isn't picking up on that.

My Computer

Is Serv-U running as a sevice or did you start it? could be that plesk is looking for the serv-u service.

Also have you tried restarting server to see if it makes any difference?

Part of the problem, is that the ftp service for serv-u keeps stopping. I start it up and refresh the Plesk page, and it still says it isn't installed.

Why it's stopping for no reason? It comes up saying: "unknown error, your session may have timed out."

Just seems like the service stops as soon as I login to plesk as admin.

My Computer

Can't say since I've never used Win 2003, sounds like its not configured correctly.

don't plesk have support forums, as that's the best place to ask.
