My Computer

Default Poor state of the modern mouse

Oh my god has the world gone crazy
What is with the massive takeover of inferior and un efficient computer mice.
Optical mice are far too light and dont have much of a ground clearence, and those that are wireless are hit by insufferable intererence that cannot be avoided, not matter how far it is from any electrical device
Also it seems that paying more for an optical/wireless mouse does not improve this situation. If you ask me its technology gone backward.
Wireless keyboards are the same making it impossible to play games properly
(eg when playin g (SEE IT PUT A SPACE RIGHT THERE!) morrowind sneaking becomes pointless becuase when you hold down the key for sneak after five seconds you stop sneaking, even when button is still pressed.
On call of Duty I often automatically spin round and face up and constantly fire without pressing a key. This often results in me being shot!
And there are many other incidents that occur on other games.
I just cant take it anymore
Some company needs to do something about this as im sure im not the only victim.

Hmmm, I've not had much experience with wireless mice but I have had the same problem with COD, spinning at random times!

Are you using the mouse on a good quality surface?

One word my friends. LOGITEC!!! I've had mine abused, beaten, bathed in cranberry juice. It still works awesome. Never skips, spins, or does anything my hand doesnt.

My Computer

My A4 wireless optical mouse is also giving me problems, but I think it is because the company is cheap, as my old Microsoft mouse (optical) is till working perfectly.
Moreover, if the wireless mouse in not with good quality rechargable batteries, I think it is not worth the money too,...

I've never had any problems with the MX500 or MX700.

I also use a wireless keyboard and it has no flaw whatsoever.

Your problems might reside in your configuration and/or games you play.

My Computer

My mouse is optical and cordless, and I only have problems when the battery is low - easily solved by charging it overnight in the holster that came with it.
My keyboard is also wireless, and I dont have any interance from that as they are on different frequencies.
All that and they must be cheap and cheerful, I got them (as a set) for £20!
