I'm running WoW at 5fps on all Low settings. It varies from 5-60 on Low, but it stays on 5 for long periods of time in empty areas. Is there anything wrong with the temperature of these things?

your cpu is overheating so is your graphics card and hard drive. are you using stock heatsinks for both cpu and graphics card. You need to get your temps down ASAP to avoid damaging your components. try re-applying thermal paste to cpu and also try puttin a few more fans in your case.

what fan is it? is it the cpu fan? if it's just a case fan just replace it.

try using hwmonitor... that way you know it is just not that program. Because at that cpu temperature your computer would not be able to run. The temps are most likely still higher then you want them though. Re applying thermal paste, aftermarket coolers, and case fans could bring down the temperatures a lot.

    Thanks for the replies.

Sorry for the late update. The problem remains, I'm using MDM 5 which clocks the temperatures at Case 66C CPU 75C. After doing some google seems like thats not very good.

My FPS in WoW and UT2K4 are terrible and have only gotten worse. I really have to open the case up and check the fan on the power supply. Checked for the regular things like background programs/spyware/malware/registry issues, but I'm all clean there. I believe the only problem to blame for my terrible FPS problem(which started suddenly like 3 weeks ago) is the high temperature.. am I right?

Temps will sure do it. You still need to get them down though.

You might also want to try to reinstall drivers, just to make sure that isn't the problem.
