    Hi!

Everyone has probably heard how breaks squeak when their break pads have been worn off. I changed all 4 break pads on the front of the car a little over a year ago. But recently, when the wheels are turned to one or the other direction (that is, I am not driving forward) and I am breaking, they squeak. Is it really the breaking pads again?

    Thanks for any feedback

Pads are new, but what about the discs? Are they smooth? You may wanna put them in a turning machine and take a 0,5mm off. BTW, how old is the car itself?

yeah, i'll second that, could be that the rotors aren't smooth. Also, could just be the pads, were they cheap pads?? Also, i'm reading that right, its only in reverse??

If you notice that your car creates a not so normal sounds or if you smell something unusual it's advisable to bring it to an independent dealer or your car dealer to check it and do some investigation of the issue. You shouldn't take this for granted because this can worsen the condition. If you are not sure have it check by an expert.
