i M going to buy a new PC in few days.

But i m not able to decide as on which GRAPHIC CARD to buy.

    i Have 2 choices :
    1} ATI RADEON HD 5770
    2} nVIDIA GTX 260.

Pls. dont give me any other choice as i have decided to buy any one of these cards.

ATI 5770 has DX-11 SUPPORT, EYEFINITY, etc BUT IS SLOWER THEN GTX 260 ON GAMES.

    nVIDIA GTX 260 HAS
CUDA & PHSYx which is a BOON TO GAMING & ANIMATION.
i Dont think ATI has such technologies with them.

You have the answer in your question itself..the 260 will beat 5770 and I'd suggest nVidia over ATI, you should go for the GTX 260.

the only reason to go with the ATI card would be DX11, which nothing uses.
If you want raw pow3er however, go with an ATI Radeon 5970.
It will beat either of those cards hands down (in power and cost unfortunately)
but, in your choices i would go for the Nvidia, unless i found the ATI on sale.

I went for the ATI. I am satisfied w/ the performance and the difference isn't THAT big.

DX11 is used in Dirt2 and Windows 7 natively.

So, actually the question boils down to this - whether to take a very mature technology (nvidia with its ddr3 and solid full dx10 support, meaning more stable and glitchyless operation) or to go with cutting edge stuff (GDDR5, DX11, but potentially less stable - I've seen some driver glitches but that'll stabilize itself).

oh, and XFX has a good HD5770 :p - nice value pack + it's a bit faster than the others w/o any OCing done by XFX.
