After format my notebook, I found that my build in keyboard and mouse not working when load in window. I try to go in safe mode, it can work there, and it can use to enter bios before load in window. Can anyone help me on this??

Are you using PS/2 or USB ? There is an option in most Bio's to turn on USB keyboard and mouse..Is this a New motherboard ? some motherboards have Jumpers next to there Plug in's...They could be turned off there as well..
Hi, So an external keyboard and mouse will work, just not the keyboard or touchpad on the laptop after windows comes up? If that is the case, especially where it sounds like you just reloaded the laptop, I would go to the laptop vendor's website and download the drivers for them to see if that helps. I know with a dell laptop, if you look up a model they have all the drivers there for the specific model to download, including one for the keyboard touchpad. Especially where they work in the bios before windows loads makes me think it is a driver causing your problem. What brand of laptop do you have?
Ya, external keyboard and mouse can work, only build in will not function after load in windown. My laptop model is Aspire 5570. Any idea how it become that? I try in safe mode also it work fine.
No, i din't change montherboard, only after format the PS/2 keyboard and mouse not work when load in to windows.
Hi, This Acer website has drivers for the aspire laptop you have. I would try the Chipset driver Intel 8.0.0.1009 driver as well as the Touchpad driver 8.3.0.0 first. When you load into safe mode, the computer uses basic drivers for keyboard and mouse, and you said they work while in safe mode which is why I think it may be driver related. Here is the link to the acer support site : http://support.acer-euro.com/drivers/notebook/as_5570.html Also, if you go into the device manager for the computer, does it show any warnings? Right click my computer, then choose manage, then there should be an option that says device manager. Once open, take a look and see if there is anything marked as yellow, or as ! or with a ? to see if there is a problem.
