    Hi,

We have a problem with printing PDF's from a HP OfficeJet Pro 8000. It will print any other kind of document just not PDF's. I have already followed the below instructions I found on the web it didn't work.

    1. Open Adobe Reader.
    2. Click File and select Print.
    3. Click on Advanced to open the Advanced Print Setup window.
    4. Click Print As Image.
NOTE: Selecting the Print As Image option usually increases the printing time.
    5. Click OK.
    6. Click Print.

I have no idea what is causing, is anyone able to help?
    Thanks

Do you have PDF software installed ? What Operating System do you have ? Take a look under printers/ fax's to see if you have the pdf program there..

We use Adober Reader 9.3 with Windows XP.

We can print PDF's to other printers just not the HP OfficeJet Pro 8000.

I'm not sure what you mean by 'look under printers/ fax's to see if you have the pdf program' ?

We changed the driver and ensured that 'print as image' was selected in the print settings within Adobe Reader.

The printer can now print PDFs!

    Thanks for your help.
