    As long as AGP slot voltage is same as AGP card voltage, there should be no problems. General rule: AGP 4X/8X slots and cards use 1.5V. So they are compatible with each other. And yes, there are some exceptions to that rule.

    Be careful if you have either AGP 2X card or AGP 2X slot.
