Karaoke mixing

    Right guys. This is one of my great ideas to do something with my spare time.

    I am going to record myself singing to classic songs, and then mix the voice with the real song. The real song will have a karaoke filter applied to reduce the actual voice (it does also distort the music somewhat).

    Would selling these CDs on ebay for charity be illegal? The actual music is distorted and mixed with my own voice. :p

    Mainly doing frank sinatra, tom jones, dean martin etc.

    I dont think so, but you should better check with charity authourity in your area first.

    It seems that you are a good singer. Can u post one track or a demo of your voice in here. I am a music freak and love listening new voices.

    Heh I didn't say I was good ;). I barely pulled off a frank sinatra "French Foreign Legion" song after the bugger went up an octave higher repeating the last verse!

    So, I guess you're taking this karaoke thing serious then? Which charity are you sending the money to?

    Its not illegal Addis...many people do it.
