There are currently no DX10 games out, and by the time there is, 8800 series cards will be old, I dont think they will do good at DX10 tbh. Also, Nvidia Vista drivers seem preety crap atm

You'res isn't the only negative comment concerning Vista/dx10/games, makes me think about scrapping the hole idea When is ATI's card due.

Hehe, if your a propor gamer, I would suggest sticking with XP, only use Vista for the DX10 demos :p

I'm currently using Windows Vista right now.But I'm not happy with it's performance,no offense.But that's what I experienced.

I am running a triple boot, using XP / Vista / Windows 2008 Workstation.. All three run
just fine. I do have 1 gig of ram though.. If you want Vista to run faster and more stable you can use Vlite to get rid of all the junk...Since Vista is a DVD install, I just install from XP. There are some Vista's Lites out there which are on 1 CDR ...
