Anyone played this one yet (for the PS2 or otherwise)? I ordered it as it looked a little less puzzily than the previous incarnation. Just want to hear anyones overall take on the game. Is it easy to grasp? Frustrating? Full of head scratching puzzles (now and then is okay). Well I guess I see for myself but I'd still like a heads up

It's a great game with some good graphics, it still has many puzzles, staying true to it's series roots. But in WW the combat is a little more viscious, if you don't know how to fight in the game then it's pretty much over. Plus one of the puzzles you will encounter is being chased by an immortal being that if it gets too close it kills you instantly, so you're forced to navigate complex hallways at high speed, you need good reflexes.
![]() But I have to say it's a brilliant game, even better if you play and finish Sands of Time (easier on the combat) beforehand to get a slight idea for the storyline. |

Thanks man, good to hear it
I've got the basic idea of what happened in the first on and say it played on my Cousins PS2 a while back. Looked pretty hard but the whole rewind time deal was pretty sweet. I'll be eagerly awaiting this one.

Okay I got it yesterday. It's pretty sweet really. The graphics are quite impressive really, probably the best I've seen on the PS2. Though there is hint of low fps now and then but the combat is still fluid. I like the combat system and and combo's are easy to do unlike most fighting games. I'm not far in the game so I take it the firt few levels are pretty tutorialish and they teach you how to rewind time a little later as I can't seem to do that yet??

Yeah, you do the first part without the ability to rewind time. After you activate your first "Sand Portal" you will get the ability, and when you activate the later ones you'll get more abilities as you do so.
Confirmed release date: Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones will reach UK stores on the 2nd December and it will reach the PSP on the 9th December. |
