problem connecting xbox to computer
Hi, i have modded my xbox, i am trying to connect my xbox to my pc via a router and use ftp, i had it working before, but i am not able to now, i went and typed in, ftp://ftp.username:password@192.168.0.100 and then i try to connect, and it says a connection cannot be established, the cable coming from the xbox to the router is a cat 5e patch cable, and form the pc to router it is a cat 6e patch cable, what is going on, why cant it connect to ftp, it used to work :'( anyone help please

How do i ping the xbox?
do i just open CMD and type ping 192.168.0.100? if so, i did that and it said, request timed out  edit** oh am so happy  , i managed to do it myself , the ip of the xbox was 192.168.0.100, well, what i did was change the ip to 192.168.8.6, coz the router asignes and ip of 192.168.8.somthing to every computer, so now i can connect, oh man am so releaved
