Default Problem with FF & IE

Hi there, hoping this is just a small problem - im a real Web design newb

Ive got this ultra basic geocities site that loads fine in IE

http://www.geocities.com/edenvalleyflyfishing/

but if you try opening that address in firfox it doesnt work, you have to put it in as

http://www.geocities.com/edenvalleyflyfishing/index

anyone know of a way that i can make this so it opens easily in firefox?

thanks in advance
