Hello.
I have a problem on yahoo and ventrillo, as of late (don't really know why) ppl hear me way too loud and messy or don't hear me at all, also when i play something in winamp or whatever, i automatically broadcast that as if my mic was recording it, even if the mic is unplugged also, even when yahoo or ventrillo isnt running, if i speak into my mic i can hear myself in the speakers :| and sometimes i defenately don't want that! My configuration: Hardware: Motherboard: nForce 650i Ultra 775 T1 with integrated Realtek 7.1 sound card Mic: some mic, sais Gembird on it Software: Windows XP sp2 Audio drivers: Realtek high definition audio driver R1.73 Audio driver version: 5.10.0.5464 Dx version: 9.0c audio controller : HD audio audio codec: ALC885 |

Go to Start, Run, sndvol32
Open the properties dialog and check all of the boxes under playback. Mute the microphone. Go back to the properties, and set it to recording. Check all the boxes, click OK. Make sure that Microphone is the only one with a Select box checked. If that doesn't fix your problem, post screenshots of both the recording and playback sections so we can see what's going on. |
