Default Programs not responding

Hello, Often when i run a program or surfing the net it will say "Not Resonding". Ive reformatted my computer but seem to still be getting programs not respond. Any Solutions to this?

What OS do you have? Sometimes it can just be the nature of the OS.

yep that's it. Just another side effect of bill gates all over your computer, massaging it throughouly touching it everywhere letting nasty things in all over it.

Ahem. Yeah. It's mostl likely just windows if you did a clean install and the problem didn't change. might wanna try using firefox. www.mozilla.org

First place would be to check for anything malicous. Do a virus and spyware scan. You can get some free ones here: AVG Free Edition and Spybot Search and Destroy. Check removeable media and other drives inase something has been left out by the format.

If you're still having problems update windows or probably easier still get Windows XP SP2. You should be able to get a free CD ordered from the MS website.
