I have 2 pc's and 2 monitors that i want to share (i.e., both pc's having dual monitor capability). Anyone know what sort of KVM switch I'd need for that? Thanks in advance for your assistance.

You just need to make sure you have the correct amount of ports on any given KVM switch. This one allows four PCs to be hooked up, This one allows two. If you want to run dual displays with both machines, then something like THIS will be what you are looking for.
--edit--- for some info, check out this website http://www.kvms.com/Landing/Dual-Video-Central.aspx
