Right I've decided I want/need more RAM in my computer but am slightly confused by all the different kinds of RAM....
my mo/bo is a GigaBye GA-945GZM-S2 GIGABYTE - Product - Motherboard - Specification - GA-945GZM-S2 (rev. 2.1) and says.. Memory. 2 DDR II DIMM memory slots (supports up to 2GB memory) Supports 1.8V DDR II DIMM Supports dual channel DDR II 533/400 DIMM The RAM I've currently got in there is PC2-4200 DDR II SDRAM 533MHz CL4 Non ECC Unbuffered So basically my question is would this RAM be suitable in my computer? Kingston 2GB DDR2 Memory - Cheap at Ebuyer! would be suitable for my computer. thanks Last edited by xotoxic; 19-09-2007 at 11:19 PM. |

Yes, I think so, but you'd have to take out what was already in because there are only 2 slots on your motherboard and the 2GB kit it 2 lots of 1GB. Also because your board only supports upto 2GB.
