Default random beeps im totally clueless

First of all thanks you for looking at my thread. For the past week, I have been getting random beeps from my PC.
I have a :

Award bios
GIGA-Bye mobo ga-8n-sli
P4 HT *2
3.00 ghz
8600 gt fatal1ty - new install last week
2 gigs ram
550 watt psu - new install 3 weeks ago
audigy se sound card - new install 2 weeks ago
logitech trackball mouse
ergonomic keyboard microsoft
lg dvd/cd writer - new install last night
1 120 mm fan , 80 mm fan, cpu fan and psu has 2 60 mm fan.

The random beeps i get usually happens when im either installing a demo game or downloading a demo game or bruning a dvd (happened a lot last night), I dont think i hear beeping when im actually playing a game (maybe once or twice). i check the award bios beep codes but nothing matches what i hear. It's usally 1 beep. Then after 5 minutes (varies) 1 beep then another beep then another beep then it stops. Sometimes it doesnt beep at all untill the next day. I am really not sure what is going on but if neone can please help me or point me to the right direction it will be greatly appreciated. BTW I think my comp knowledge is about medium. I have also pulled and replugged my video card and ram to no avail. Also 1 thing that i have noticed is that when i go to the bios set up my keyboard stops working after 1 minute, but if I use the old keyboard ( one of those factoy ones it works no problem. not sure if this has nething to do w/ my problem. Im just throwing everything out there _ BTW microsoft ergonomic driver hasnt been installed yet ).

also i check my device manager and dx diag and everything seems to be working fine.
