Ratchet and Clank 3 prob.

I've been avidly enjoying Ratchet and Clank: Up your arsenal for a little while now and just got past the part where you face off with the evil giant Clank. So I go to head onto the awaiting transport ship and select the only available mission and then I see the transport ship fly away in a cut sceen. And it continues to do that..and keeps on doing that, looping the different flight scenes...still haven't landed. I left it go for at least 15 minutes, reset, tried it again, and then again, and this time when I opened the save file it didn't even show Ratchets ship flying to the planet it just started back with the endless flying transport ship bit. Argh! I just want to keep playing but from the looks of things I've got a curropted save file. Does anyone have any ideas?
