Default refer to previous thread

hi yall, how do refer someone to a previous thread that solves the problem their having, because the way i would do it would be to find the previous thread and copy the text, but albiet it makes me look good the original poster of the previous thread should take the credit

Exactly, then simply paste it.

To be honest though, if you want to copy text and pretend it's your own then thats fine! I don't have a problem with it

Or do it my way! Copy and paste the idea and put source at the end. If other person gives you a thank for it then you worth it because you have done work...searched and paste; according to me you worth for it.
