Yeah they don't. If you do bend them, kiss the cathode itself goodbye, even if the outer case hasn't cracked. I killed mine the other day. The cheap ones run $20, but can run as high as $40 which is fairly expensive.
Then again, case modding does have it's hazards. Oh, well, I've already picked up some molding lights and switches from some auto stores to install on this thing. I just need to get some info on the 4-pin molex connectors power output so I can get the 12V hooked up correctly for these things. All the stuff is 12V so I won't have to mess with resistors and whatnot in the process. The *hardest* part will be cutting the 5.25" bay cover for the panels. |
