Default removing dual boot option

Hi

Tried to install XP on a slave drive and it has given me adual boot system.

I no longer need the slave drive - how do i remove the boot selection bit. (Ask me which os to start Xp or XP top one does not work as the slave drive is no longer present)

Im told i need to edit my boot.ini file - but i cant find it only boot.ini.backup

And when i do find it how do i know which one to remove?

My Computer

Just found this

ok... as in other case this works....MY pc-->properties-->advanced (tab)--->the last one.. the name??...wait..---->Startup and recovery-Settings-->and it shows ... "EDIT" button click on

So i can edit the boot options but how do i know which one to remove?

multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(1)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Micro soft Windows XP Professional" /noexecute=optin /fastdetect
or
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Micro soft Windows XP Professional" /fastdetect /NoExecute=OptIn

In the boot option at startup i use the bottom one the location is master on ide0 The slave was master on ide1
