With the ever-increasing specs and speeds of latest PC\\\'s, it makes sense to look at 512Mb modules as more and more people are opting to go for this amount of RAM right from the word go. By default, Windows XP will utilize at least half of your memory just for itself, so if you have 256Mb you\\\'re looking at an instant drop to 128Mb before you even try and run anything, so 512Mb these days is a very worthwhile consideration.
