Hi,
Ive just bought a sata2 hdd, my mobo(K8N) is capable of using sata 2 at its 300mb/s speed but im not sure if i have the right cables. I have some orange ones that came with the mobo, will these allow a 300mb/s interface with the mobo or will i need to buy some sata2 cables? |

Those will work fine.
The faster data rate is for a burst rate, not sustained. |
