Half Life 2:

HL2 directory/SteamApps/User/Half-Life 2/hl2/SAVE/

All the .SAV files should be in there. As for the others I don't have them installed.

First I'd check My Documents as thats where most of my saves end up when I install games. Also check the folder where you have the game installed for saved files, there should be saves folder or similar.

Unless it's like HL2 where you really have to dig around for them.

I know Max Payne 1 and 2 definatly put their savegames in My Documents folder, as does Manhunt. Not sure where UT2004 puts them though, trying to find anything in a UT directory is extremely time-consuming.

you can get a friend who played to store them on a cd and copy them from that location into the save folder, thats how i transferred my game files from my dads computer to mine
