Sometimes a computer problem could go into two or three separate forums. Lets say I have a problem with my graphics card, I could post the problem in Drivers & Firmware, Graphics and TV cards or the Windows forums. What I propose is that when posting a thread, a user could also select other forums he would like it to appear in, perhaps via a drop down box that says 'also show thread in ........ forum'.
The thread would appear in full in the primary forum chosen by the user, but shortcuts (or redirectors) to the thread (perhaps similar to the shortcut that appears when a thread is moved by a Mod or Admin) would appear in other forums as well. Take another example, Impotence's Linux shipping thread. He had to post it on 3 separate occasions - the Linux forum, General Chat and Suggestions & Feedback. All he would need to do with the shortcuts feature is just post it once in say the Linux forums, and then place shortcuts or redirectors in the other two forums
