To keep things as civil and fair as possible here, we've got some simple rules which everyone should abide by:

1.) NO SITE PIMPING! If you are a hardware vendor/dealer and want to advertise your products, please contact one of the admins: Sniper or Anti-Trend. We are more than happy to try and work out an arrangement with you, but please talk to us before anything! We will lock and/or delete offending posts and we will ban the poster. You have been warned!

2.) You should think of the "Buy / Sell / Trade" forum as you would of the "Classifieds" section in a newspaper. It is provided freely as a courtesy to our community. We the staff of Zone 365/Hardware Forums are NOT responsible nor liable in ANY way, shape, or form regarding transactions made here on this forum. Each transaction is strictly between the buyer and seller. If you feel there is a problem which cannot be worked out after contacting the individual with whom you have entered into a private transaction, please contact a site admin or moderator. We will take the strongest appropriate action available to us, including banning the user in question. NOTE THAT WE CANNOT REFUND MONEY NOR BE HELD LIABLE FOR ANY TRANSACTIONS BETWEEN YOU AND OTHER USERS ON THE BUY / SELL / TRADE FORUM.

3.) To protect both the buyer and seller insofar as we can reasonably do, we recommend posting some form of verifiable contact information. The recommended option is a valid College, ISP, Business, or self-hosted e-mail address that you can reliably be contacted at. This will inspire confidence in trading with you, especially if you have not traded here before.

4.) When selling, you must post what payment types you are willing to accept, e.g. PayPal, Money Order, personal check, cash, etc.

5.) While it's not necessary, it is helpful to have a reference. For example, sites such as Heatware can be your friend. If you have it, or something similar, make sure to post it. It can be helpful in deciding who ships/pays first. eBay references are fine as well. Conversely, if you're trying to build up your references, don't be afraid to ask the person your trading with to swap Heat.

6.) If you're not willing to part with something, DON'T POST IT FOR SALE/TRADE. Once you've put it up, it may not be removed until sold/traded. If it so happens there is a situation where you absolutely must take it down, please contact Anti-Trend or Sniper before doing so and wait for a reply. We will make every effort to get back to you ASAP.

7.) If you're selling the same thing at different forums, it's OK with us. Just please make sure to update your post when done.

8.) No linking to your stuff from elsewhere (pics are excluded from this). You will instead need repost the info on these forums.

9.) The Buy / Sell / Trade forums are not for auction type bidding, but to facilitate private trading between two interested parties, much like the classifieds in a newspaper. Therefore, no eBay, craigslist, or auction type links are allowed.

10.) "Free" iPods, TV's, PCs, etc.: these are pyramid schemes and are not to be posted under any conditions. If you post this kind of content, you will be banned immediately and the offending post(s) deleted.

11.) You must have 50 posts (General Chat and a few other forums do not go toward your post count) to post in the BST forum. You absolutely may not post a BST thread anywhere else but the BST forum. It will be deleted without any explanation to you.
