Silent Hunter 4

Hello All,

Yesterday I got a new computer system, ive checked the compatibilty issue with the pc and the game, firstly it would not instal now its installed but will not run,

sorry im using vista!!!

Have you checked that Silent Hunter 4 can run on Vista? The thing with Vista is that if it doesn't say one way or the other, it usually means it can't run on Vista, at least not without a patch.

It said on the box that it was vista Compatible, Ive been down to the game store i bought it from, they have told me to try and find a patch and if i have no luck to return it for an exchange.

In that case you might want to upgrade the game to the latest version via a software patch, and see if there's a compatibility patch available from Microsoft.

anyways, as for the problem, maybe you should google for something, because in this way, you might find the patch you need right away. also, maybe some fix or whatever that will make the game run.

i think theres quite a few patches on there site (ive got silent hunter 4

but not with vista) try there site im sure they must have something here for vista

Never played the game is it any good?

-I went on silent hunter official website and found on the forums that a few people have vista problems so i recommend you check them out.
