Default SisSoftware Sndra 05?

Well when i use there the comparison thing on the 2 CPU benchmarks i score about as high as the intel P4s at 3.6 and 3.8 ghz. Is that benchmark off or is the clock speed difference between intel and AMD that big.

AMD processors perform much better than Intel processors at lower MHz. Measuring CPU performance by MHz is like measuring car engine performance by RPMs ...doesn't make much sense, does it? Therefore, an AMD processor clocked much lower than an Intel processor actually performs better.

I understood that but i didnt realize my 2.2 ghz SD core 3700+ would compete with a 3.6/3.8 ghz which costs considerably more.

Crazy, huh? That's why I only build AMD-based systems.
