    Default SLI configuration

Hi there everyone, im new to the forums.

I have just put in my second 6600GT card. I'm running XP2.

There are two problems I am having.

    1) My machine doesn't pick up my second graphics card. The fan is spinning on it so it must be working. I have used it individually and it works fine.

Must I enable the second PCI slot in bios or whatever?

    2) There is no SLI configuration in Nvidia control panel.

    Any information would be appreciated.

P.S) I have updated to the latest drivers on everything including BIOS.

    Using Everest home edition:

    Display:
Video Adapter NVIDIA GeForce 6600 GT (128 MB)
    3D Accelerator nVIDIA GeForce 6600 GT PCI-E
    Monitor LG L192WS [NoDB] (1652128194)

It seems to be picking it up... How do I change from AGP or whatever?

sli, different from crossfire needs the same branded card, produced in the same technique at the same time seems as a soap scenary but the sli packed cards are programmed for sli specially

by the way, have a cold water for yourself after your money - they won't accept any returns for this reason

and more than sli, buying a new card will be more effective, try to buy a 256bit, 384 bit or even the radeon hd2900xt (512bits and my new card now ) will make much more difference

if you need something cheap try 512mb x1950pro or 256mb x1900xt
