So did anyone actually get a PS3 already?

This subforum is a little quiet... is that because everyone is waiting for the PS3 to decrease in price before buying one?

I always like to hear reports from people on a new product they bought, but... it is disturbingly silent in here! :lol:

I got one, mainly to play the PES6 PS2 version, waiting for the PS3 version, not out til sometime Oct 2007 I think

. Also have Motorstorm, which is excellent but waiting for the update to fix a few bugs which let users cheat online.

I do think its quite expensive but by the time xmas comes I think it will pickup in sales perhaps even with a lower price.

I've got 2 of them but can't say I've really done any gaming on it, played resistance a bit but they've been primarly relegated to blu-ray players.

So far I haven't seen any titles to really get excited about, which I think is contributing to Sony being in last place more than price. Here at least the Xbox Elite's are selling out as soon as there in and there's been 4 PS3's sitting on the shelf for awhile, and the Elite's $6 cheaper so can't see price being the deciding factor.
