Default Something with an HDMI port thing

My laptop is 2 years old and it doesn't have an HDMI port
can i take a port from another laptop and just put it in mine?
or do i have to add a whole new graphic card?
(sorry if this is the wrong place)

    Welcome to HWF

Unfortunately, all components inside a laptop are integrated. And because each laptop is built differently, you can't put a different board in there. You could however use a DVI-HDMI converter plug. But your laptop needs a DVI port ( a white port with many pins and a wide horizontal pin).

You won't be able to take a port for one laptop and put it in the other. There is no way to do this. If you want to switch the motherboards, then you'd better just use the laptop with HDMI and save the hassle.
