My Computer

Default Sound card and Speakers for $75?

Onboard audio and a 2.0 Jensen JPS 45 speaker duo that's probably as old as I am won't cut it for long. I've scoured Newegg and I like the looks of these:

The Live! isn't terrible, but from what I can see, Creative just slapped some extra stuff in there and called it good. I kinda smell marketing BS with the 24-bit thing. The Chaintech and Gainward cards use the same VIA Envy sound chip, which is one of the best on the market.

Thanks Big B. So in other words go with either Chaintech, Gainward, or some card using the VIA Envy sound chip?
