Question Sound Device

Hi Guys,

I have a Sony VAIO VGN-NR160E series laptop with Windows Vista as the OS. But as I wanted to Install SAP R/3, I replaced the OS from Vista to Windows XP.

Now my sound device is not working & also my wireless internet.

Whenever I try to play a song/video it either says it does not recognize or another application is playing.

When I check control panel --> Sound device - it says no Audio device.

Pls. help...I think I need to install the sound drivers, but no clue from how...

Thanks
RLS

Hi RHochstenbach,

Thanks a lot for your response. I have installed the req. drivers & they have really helped me. Thanks once again.

Also, bcoz of downgrading my laptop to Windows XP from Vista the screen does not show in full i.e. there is 1 inch blank on the left & right side of the screen. Pls. let me know fi there is some solution for this as well.

Really appreciate ur time & response.

Thanks
RLS
