can anybody tell me what these google spiders and other things are that appear as guests or veiwers?

they index the pages on hardware forums, so when you search for something on google, msn etc our page would come up if its a related keyword search.

I hope you get what I mean...

but how do you manage to be the first on the first page of 7,000,000 plus

By having the most specific result in the search.

Also, because HF gets quite a lot of traffic, it is reasonably high in the searches.

Although not many people would try to search for hardware forums on google as a first try because of the popular domain.
