The new kernel seems to have solved my issue with the B43 driver.
No more wireless connection drops!!! HA! ![]() However = the new kernel disabled my laptop's power monitoring applet... So I installed Kpowersave and all back to normal! I am cutting edge, baby!!!! ![]() I know I am going to be sorry posting this..... ![]()

As I thought - this was too good to be true and lasted not very long.....
For some reason, my box just freezes like a good windows box and I can do nothing but hold the button down to shut the laptop off. I am pretty sure this has nothing to do with the B43 driver..... god knows.... I am really not sure what started this behavior. I think I should really start taking notes of what I am doing.... Oh, well.... back to 2.6.18.....
